My Weekend As a Photographer

As I have mentioned before, I love photography, but I have never photographed a wedding, and boy was I nervous! I mean, this is someones wedding day we are talking about here! But I have to toot my own horn here and say that I did pretty darn good! I had so much fun photographing Chris and Courtney’s engagements and wedding! They are so much fun and so perfect for each other! They were married in the Mount Timpanogos LDS Temple on July 27, 2013. The lighting couldn’t have been more perfect! The clouds rolled in and a little rain came down and it made for perfect pictures for their wedding, as well as 27 other wedding that took place in that temple that day. I took over 1000 pictures and I think I have maybe 20 of them edited so it will take me some time, but I just have to share some of my favorites!

The day after the wedding, we took family pictures for the Williams family in Lehi, UT. If I told you where we took the pictures, you wouldn’t believe it! This spot was right next to a ucky construction sight, but they are looking pretty good so far! I’ve only had time to just look at the pictures and edit one of them just for this blog post, but I am so excited! Photography is my passion and I really got to explore and expand my skills this weekend! I am very hopeful for my future career in photography and investing in a fancy pants camera someday!
